Brrrr. That looks so cold. How did that storm affect you?

We were more fortunate than the southern part of the state. We never lost power, and I got out of work 2 hours early! My brother and his family in southern NH are still without power, but they are staying with his wife's family. The temps up here Friday and Saturday never hit more than 6 degrees. Today was 18, and tomorrow should hit 40. David's daughter is coming home for Christmas from Big Sur. She is guaranteed a white Christmas!

As I am sure you have heard. It snowed in Malibu, CA this week. Also in the California desert at Barstow. And, of course, Las vegas. Strange weather.

Where I live, about 400 miles north of LA and 100 miles east of Frisco, it has been cold, rainy and foggy. While not as cold as what you are experiencing, it has gotten down to the upper 20's. And for someone who spent the last 15 years in the tropics, that is FRIGGIN' COLD!. LOL
